Frontier Wallet Chrome Browser Extension is Launching Soon

When we launched Frontier Wallet, our goal was to give users anywhere, anytime access to all the DeFi functions they would need in the most secure way possible. This also meant ensuring Frontier Wallet supported all leading EVM and non-EVM chains and integrated the best of each ecosystem directly within the app. As a result, Frontier supports over 29+ chains today, and our users enjoy the ease of use, speed, and convenience of enjoying their Web3, DeFi, and NFT experiences across multiple ecosystems.

Today we are pleased to announce beta whitelist signups are now open for our browser extension. Once the beta passes its audit, we will release the beta to users who sign-up for the whitelist.

With this, you will soon enjoy all the things you love about Frontier Wallet's mobile experience on your desktop. From one-click access to all leading blockchain ecosystems, using in-built access to all important crypto actions, and finally – instant access to dApps securely in your browser.

Your key to Web3

At launch, the new browser extension will support 25+ chains, including Ethereum (fully-compatible post Merge for PoS), Polygon, Solana, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Gnosis, Moonriver, Bluzelle, and many others.

More chains will be added soon, including support for over 4000+ verified crypto assets from Frontier, which includes historical token prices, price analysis, and additional data points. In addition, users can also buy crypto using popular fiat on-ramp solutions from Binance Connect, Coinbase Pay, MoonPay, and Juno Pay. Users will also be able to monitor wallet activity easily and gain granular access to token history, all of which will be available in an easily accessible and readable format.

An all-new NFT interface allows you to manage multiple collections across networks. Sending and receiving NFTs will also become faster and more intuitive, with integrations with popular platforms like OpenSea allowing you to browse additional details instantly.

The extension also has in-built support for token swaps and bridging using leading aggregator dApps which intelligently connect to decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and bridges to deliver instant liquidity at the fastest rates. This will allow you to seamlessly participate in cross-chain opportunities and make the most of your DeFi journey.

Includes support for Hardware Wallets

We are also delighted to share that Frontier will support hardware wallets from Trezor and Ledger from the very first release of the extension. Since advanced crypto users need support for their cold wallets, we wanted to ensure they were covered. The new extension will allow you to create new multi-chain wallets and import existing wallets using your recovery phrase. In case you already have a multi-chain wallet associated with your recovery phrase, you will be able to access them on Frontier.

We are building this new extension to meet the rigorous security standards and ensure you have a safe and frictionless multi-chain experience. Your private key is never stored on the browser extension or online to ensure your crypto assets are secure. Frontier Wallet's non-custodial mantra "your keys = your assets" remain faithful, even with this new release.

Similar to the Frontier Wallet mobile app, this new extension will also allow you to have a seamless experience across multiple ecosystems without switching between multiple apps and browser extensions. Since this extension comes with in-built support for all leading EVM and non-EVM networks, you can safely use Frontier Wallet as your only browser-based crypto wallet.
