About Hot Cross

Founded in 2020, With a mission to make Web3 accessible and user-friendly, Hot Cross shipped an extensive multi-chain and cross-chain tool suite that enables blockchain teams and their communities to thrive. They aimed to be the best toolbox for ETH and EVM networks.

The core thesis that Hot Cross presents is that users and teams will migrate partly to new networks that feel familiar when presented with good tooling and freedom. The goals of acquisition.

It's a significant step towards building & launching Frontier's Layer 1 blockchain based on Cosmos SDK.

The Hot Cross team has been at the forefront by building tooling for Web3 and DeFi space and has extensive experience. Now combing both the team's expertise, we will be launching our Layer 1 chain soon.

A private key still poses a single point of failure, a significant blocker for Web3 adoption. Most self-custody wallets, dApps, are posed with this challenge.
MPC with TSS is a tech breakthrough that can make the wallet keyless. It comes with its challenges and needs more tooling/infrastructure.
Frontier's Layer 1 blockchain will be a decentralized MPC network, which will store one of the shards of the key and enable Web3 wallets and dApps to go keyless.
L1 will offer the required tooling to make this happen. Stay tuned for more details.
